Shushu Rose
The Shushu rose is a Japanese variety introduced in 2008, admired for its delicate apricot-pink blooms and graceful charm. The flowers are large, 4–5 inches across, with many layered petals forming a full, romantic rosette. Multiple blooms appear on each stem, creating abundant clusters throughout the growing season.
Shushu grows to about 32–40 inches tall, with upright canes and vigorous growth. Its blooms carry a light to medium fragrance, adding sweetness without being overpowering. This rose is a reliable repeat bloomer, bringing waves of soft, elegant color from spring through fall.
It shows good resistance to spider mites and thrives in warm climates, though in rainy seasons it may be susceptible to black spot and benefits from timely care. With its classic beauty and dependable performance, Shushu is ideal for garden borders, rose beds, or cutting for floral arrangements.
