Shipping & Ordering

At Kate Roses, we take great care in ensuring your roses reach you in the best possible condition. Here's what you can expect from our shipping process:

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping on all orders of $150 or more. To qualify for free shipping, the order subtotal must be $150 after applying any promo codes, discounts, or loyalty reward codes. Orders under $150 will be charged for shipping based on your location.

Order Processing: Customers can select the desired shipping date at checkout.  For best results, it is recommended to choose a delivery date that works best for your hardiness zone. If no date is selected, the order will be shipped one mouth later.

Tracking Information: After we've carefully packaged and shipped your order, you will receive an email containing tracking information. We exclusively use USPS as our trusted courier service.

Protecting Your Roses: To safeguard your roses from the effects of extreme weather fluctuations, we occasionally defoliate the plants before shipping, resulting in limited foliage. This measure is taken to ensure the roses remain healthy throughout the shipping journey. We guarantee that your roses will arrive in a healthy condition, and new leaves will start to emerge within 2-3 weeks of planting.

Planting Recommendations: We suggest planting your roses approximately 6 weeks before the arrival of the first frost. While you can plant your roses at any time, we advise against doing so during periods of extreme heat or cold.

Dormancy Schedule: Our roses follow a specific dormancy schedule throughout the year: semi-dormant in November, dormant from December to February, semi-dormant in early March, and non-dormant for the remainder of the year. This cycle is designed to ensure the health and vitality of your roses based on the changing seasons.
