Took longer to ship and arrive than I anticipated, but I've never seen a rose better packed and secured for shipping. The plant itself also looks fantastic and is bigger than I thought it would be. Not only that, but Kate Roses is invaluable for varieties that are not available anywhere else! I can't wait for next spring to see this one bloom!!
First time I have tried purchasing a rose to be shipped to me. Very impressed with the condition of rose when it arrived. Very well packed. Very healthy. Just put it in the ground yesterday and plan to carefully follow the instructions for success.
I have been searching for an old fashion black rose that my grandmother had in her garden. She called a jack rose. I hope my black caviar rose will meet my expectations. I just planted it two weeks ago and next summer I will know.
The Roses arrived very nice and neatly packaged and were in very good shape. I usually keep them in their container for 2 to 3 weeks before putting them in the ground to make sure everything is going good with them. These were in such good shape that I put them in the ground the very next day and they're already leafed out and looking very beautiful. Couldn't be more pleased!

First time buyer! Took a bit longer to receive my order so an email was sent, I got a fairly quick response and delay was due slow growth rate ( not their fault) . Once I got my order, rose bush came in descent shape. Will be ordering again!
I planted the rose and the first bloom looked like it was an established rose. The bloom is a deep cup full of the most intricate petals and the best smell! It arrived very healthy!
I ordered this rose from a different seller on Etsy. It did not survive when I received it it was extremely small and only lasted about 2 months and I struggled the entire time trying to keep it alive but to no avail it died. So Because I fell in love with this rose I began my search to find it from another seller. That’s when I found it for sale at Kates Roses. I ordered it with a shipping date in July which came and went. Customer service emailed me back and explained that the plants weren’t up to the quality and size they have. They told me it would arrive late sept to early October. I received my rose about a week ago. I checked my mailbox and found the rose box stuffed inside. The box was severely damaged and smashed. I then realized after struggling to pull the box out that it was my Blue moon stone rose. I feared the worst and that my rose was probably severely damaged. However much to my surprise the rose was intact and in beautiful shape. Thanks to awesome packaging that Kates Roses had done. Within the first 24 hours my rose begun to sprout new growth. Now today not even a full week from receiving it those sprouts have turned to new leaves! My plant is in beautiful shape. I am super excited and can’t wait to get through the winter and in spring emerging my new rose and the beautiful blooms it will have! I would like to say thanks Kate and her crew for sending such a remarkable rose I will be buying more Japanese Roses from Kate!
I finally received my Gabriel Rose and it had a little bud on it!! It looks so healthy and I can’t wait to see and smell it's first bloom!!!
