Guarantee

Our Guarantee

We take pride in our promise to deliver healthy roses, own-rooted, free from any viral afflictions, and true to variety. We are so confident in our roses that we offer a conditional, 180-day warranty from the date of shipping.

In the rare event that your rose does not thrive within the 180-day warranty period, we kindly ask you to reach out to us using the instructions provided below for submitting a warranty claim. Approved claims under our warrant will entitle you to a refund that can be applied to a subsequent order of another rose, equivalent in value to the originally warranted rose. (Please note that the warranty coverage does not extend to cover shipping costs or taxes).

Exemptions to our warranty policy are as follows: Roses purchased through third-party websites or those purchased as guest checkouts are not eligible for warranty claims.

Submitting Warranty Claims

Warranty requests must be submitted via our live chat and include all required information regarding the care of the rose that died. A photo of the rose of death also needs to be submitted with the claim.

Terms and Conditions

Please be aware that Kate Roses cannot be held liable for the following circumstances:

  • Abnormal or Extreme Weather Conditions: We are unable to assume responsibility for the impact of unusual or severe weather conditions on your roses.

  • Improper Care, Planting, or Neglect: Our warranty does not cover instances where the gardener's actions or inactions have led to the rose's demise, including but not limited to the following:

    • The use of solid fertilizer
    • Planting the rose in an incorrect hardiness zone
    • Planting during frost danger for the specific zone
    • Planting in an area with insufficient sunlight (less than 6 hours per day)
    • Over or under watering
    • Delayed planting
    • Keeping the rose indoors for any period of time

We regret to inform our customers that warranty claims will not be approved for roses affected by blackspot, powdery mildew, or pests, as these issues are considered the responsibility of the gardener. Furthermore, roses that may have experienced broken or damaged canes during transit will not be replaced, as these can be pruned back and are likely to regenerate new growth from their own-root system.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we aim to ensure the satisfaction and well-being of your roses, taking into consideration these terms and conditions.
